Russian Pointe Shoes now at Centerstage

You asked for it, and now you can get it at Centerstage. We are now stocking two styles of Russian Pointe shoes: the Entrada and the Rubin.

Entrada is a revolutionary shoe specially designed for dancers with very low arches. The pre-arched sole mimics the shape of the foot on pointe, enchancing longevity while minimizing break-in. Dancers with high arches will experience decreased pressure on the front of the foot. Dancers with very low arches will find it easier to reach full pointe. Both will enjoy more flattering appearance and improved comfort.

Rubin (Russian for “ruby”) has a wide toe platform and low crown. This model has a pre-arched shape that mimics the shape of the foot on pointe, enhancing longevity while minimizing break-in. Dancers with high arches will experience decreased pressure on the front of the foot. Dancers with very low arches will find it easier to reach full pointe.

The Rubin is part of the Jewels Collection, which is characterized by its sleek and elegant pleatless toe platform that eliminates fringing, improves balance, and enhances the appearance of the dancer’s elegant foot lines.

Sweet Feet Foot Spray

I was intrigued when Jeanette Wilson, a former Centerstage employee, told me about her creation Sweet Feet, which is a foot spray that gives you just that – sweet feet. Here is her story:

“All dancers have experienced the embarrassment of stinky feet after dance class. After all, our feet are overworked and crammed in skintight leather, cloth and even plastic shoes for hours. Dancers are rightfully proud of their feet. Why should we be horrifyingly embarrassed of them when we take our shoes off? After trying many disappointing traditional sprays, I wanted to create my own. Working with a fellow dancer who was also a raw fragrance sales rep, I smelled dozens of fragrances and finally combined my favorites to develop the perfect light, refreshing and sweet smelling foot spray! I gave all my dancer buddies samples to get their feedback. They LOVED it!! Taking our shoes off after class now invoked numerous inquiries into that sweet smell. The fragrance is enhanced with a variety of herbs and natural ingredients to kill germs and deodorize the feet as well. My family helped me name the spray “Sweet Feet” and my uncle sketched the dancer’s feet shown on the label. My sister and brother attach the labels to the bottles by hand and my mom takes orders from Southern California and ships Sweet Feet to dancers across the United States. ”

Sweet Feet is also available at Centerstage. If you are curious but not convinced, please feel free to stop by and sample it!
