It’s that time of year when people think about making resolutions for the New Year. Auditions are starting for this year’s summer programs. People are getting ready for the competition seasons. I love this time of year because it’s another beginning. So, I want to know, in terms of dance, what are your plans for the year? What are your goals? It could be as simple as going to a dance class regularly once a week, or it could be winning first place in a competition or getting accepted to the Summer Program of your choice.

These days it’s popular to talk about how bad the economy is. I personally prefer to look on the bright side. There are always opportunities, and this Saturday, 1/10, you have an opportunity to take advantage of the Merlet/Sheddo sample sale. Sheddo is a fashion-forward line from France, featuring beautiful and comfortable activewear that crosses over to the street. While very popular in France, Sheddo is new to our shores.
So why are we having this sale? The fact is that stores all around the country are feeling hesitant to invest in seasonal
or fashion lines because they are riskier than basics. In the meantime, we have this sample collection at our store. We could just return it to Merlet, but they would just like to get their products out into the public, and so they have allowed us to offer their pieces at below wholesale cost. While most of the Sheddo collection retails for $30-80, we will be selling the stock we have onhand at $20 a piece! But supplies are limited, so hurry in on Saturday for the best selection!
